Sauna ritual

  1. Take a hot shower so that you're clean and warmed up.
  2. Dry yourself well, because dry skin will sweat faster.
  3. Take a towel into the sauna and lie or sit on it.
  4. Stretch your body fully so your back muscles are in contact with the wood and your body relaxes faster.
  5. Don't stay in the sauna longer than 15 minutes and sit on the bottom bench for the last 2 minutes so that blood flow is restored. The highest benches are the warmest.
  6. When you have cooled down, take your shower (not too hot).
  7. Take rest and drink lots of water to compensate for lost fluids.
